7th March 2010

This weekend saw the new hut in the paddock get its roof felted properly. It should now keep the contents dry for many a year. Surrounding the hut the paving flags have been completed and the turf completed up to it. Thanks to Martyn, Mark, Stephen and Simon.
Elsewhere new fencing has been erected around the oil tank at the Camping Coach and the first part of the new cross fence erected. This fence and double gate will have to wait for the replacement Camping Coach steps to be delivered and installed.
The lineside north of the level crossing has been tidied and levelled ready for a final topping of ash, 20 tons of which is due next Sunday by the PWay.
Tony, Stephen (from Goathland and Dave have been busy building new notice boards for Goathland. They have also cleaned down an old triple notice board we had in store, again for Goathland.
Community Payback were busy filling potholes in the road near the cottage, soil in the paddock and bricking in the base of No7 signal ladder.
