Another wagon of ash has been delivered ready for Womble ballasting services to deal with – so we did! We will use it to pack and lift the next length and provide the level walking routes either side.
Both the exhibition van and the Palvan have now had the topcoats completed. Only the lettering to do now. The lowmac clean down has continued with the west side now well on the way to completion. The underframes have continued to receive a clean down and touch up. The NER van has had the station yard side cleaned down ready for its repaint.
Malcolm has commissioned a further wooden can bin housing, improving the look rather than the old blue can tubs. Tony 1 has continued repairing another large noticeboard for Goathland. The cleaned down guttering has been undercoated and put away ready for use in the future. Tony and Glynnis have continued PAT testing equipment at the station – their progress would have been quicker if they had remembered the labels! The sunken sleepers around one of the manholes in the paddock have been lifted and the ground relevelled.
